Amazingly, several days into their ordeal, they found an abandoned campsite of a man who went missing a year earlier. September 7th, 2014 - bow hunter Aaron Hedges and his party ventured out into the mountains of western Montana. The group was planning a week-long hunt in the Campfire Lake area of the Crazy Mountains Range. After an issue with a pack animal, Aaron ventured north to a supply cache the group had left the previous year. This would be the last time his hunting party would ever see him. November 23, 1991, a 17 year old went elk hunting with some friends in the remote Oregon Wilderness. When he failed to meet back up at the car that evening, his friends notified the authorities and the biggest search in Oregon’s history kicked off. The case went cold for over a year until a grizzly discovery was made. Join us this week as we discuss the disappearance of Corey Fay.

September 24th 2010, 39 year old Todd Hofflander joined some friends on a multi day hunting trip in the remote Idaho wilderness area called Hells Canyon. As an experienced hiker, Todd was well equipped to spend multiple days in the backcountry and had been on trips like this before.
EP. #30: Mitchell Dale Stehling - Mesa Verde National Park Colorado
June 9th 2013, Mitchell Dale Stehling was visiting Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado with his wife and parents. Around 4:30 PM that day, Michell decided to take a quick solo hike to the Spruce Tree House ruin. For Mitchell, this easy quarter mile hike should have been routine.
EP. #6: Charles McCullar - Crater Lake National Park
The year was 1975….. Charles McCullar, a young man from Virginia, was traveling cross country to visit a friend in Eugene Oregon. Charles, a hobbyist photographer, spent his free time hiking and focusing on his craft. During his stay in Oregon, he planned a two-day hiking trip to Crater Lake National Park to photograph the parks winter scenes.
