We're also testing out some new podcasting equipment we picked up! Thanks to the new equipment, we recorded the episode live, in person, and posted it without any post production audio editing! On November 7th, 2020, Michael Knapinski was on a snowy hike with a friend near the Muir Snowfield on Mt Rainier. During the hike, Michael and his friend became separated as the weather deteriorated, eventually leading to whiteout conditions. When Michael didn't show up at the their meeting spot, his friend alerted the authorities he was missing.

On November 15th, 2020, 9 year old Josh Gorman went missing after he ran off into the Tennessee wilderness following an argument with his parents. This kicked off a massive search and rescue operation that eventually found him 2 days later on November 17th. Remarkably, Josh survived two nights in near freezing temperature without shoes or coat.

On October 8th, 2020 - Holly Suzanne Courtier (Age 38) was reported missing in Zion National Park when she failed to get on a shuttle bus at the Grotto Stop. Holly initially went missing on October 6th, and was found 12 days later on October 18th.
