His coworker noticed him looking off into the desert with a blank stare before getting into his car and driving off, never to be seen again. June 17th, 2016 - Floyd, his best friend and his daughter set out on a 9 day backcountry hike on the Northern edge of the Grand Canyon. Late that day, the group briefly split up for no more than 30 minutes, to navigate around a small hill, before reaching the trailhead to start their hike.
