January 31, 1971, 32 year Carol Turner drove to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, in Arizona, for a short vacation while she had some time off from teaching. Carol would spend the next couple of days hiking in the monument and going on nature walks with the rangers. On February 3rd, Carol went on a hike up to Bull Pasture and was never seen again.
